Derby Day Celebration

Since 1875, the Kentucky Derby has marked the arrival of Spring with what is famously known as "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports." Held annually at Churchill Downs, the Derby blends style, sport, and spectacle at its finest, defining an American tradition of gathering well for nearly 150 years.

This year, experience Derby Day from the heart of downtown at Four Seasons Hotel Denver—and for the first time, enjoy access to swimming in our rooftop pool throughout the celebration.

Step onto our rooftop Pool Terrace for a distinctly Mile High perspective on the races, where skyline views and mountain air frame an afternoon of quintessential southern charm. Enjoy an indulgent buffet of Southern-inspired favorites like Pimento Cheese and Fried Chicken, complemented by a cash bar featuring specialty cocktails including the iconic Mint Julep. A live DJ sets the mood, creating a vibrant yet polished atmosphere as we cheer on the Run for the Roses.

Guests who select the pool upgrade may enjoy swimming during the event, adding a resort-like poolside energy to the afternoon. Swim as the DJ sets the rhythm, linger with a cocktail in hand, and celebrate the most exciting two minutes in sports from the water beneath the Mile High sun. Dedicated changing booths will be available. Waiver must be signed at check-in.

Dress in your Derby best, hats encouraged! Tickets are limited. Valid ID must be presented at check-in for 21+ wristband.
